A consistent perfomer at 1.50/1.60 he would be regulary placed in the top 5, showcasing his exceptional scope, technique and heart! In 2019 he was placed in the Top 5 at Vilamoura, Vejer de la Frontera, St Tropez and Hickstead, including a win at the CSI4* 1.50 in St. Tropez. His impressive round at Hickstead in 2018 secured the trophy for the Irish Team.
Aristio has excellent rideability with an exceptional jumping technique. He is a striking model with a beautiful temperament to match. His kind eye, expressive nature and friendly personality mean that he is a firm yard favourite. A proven breeding stallion he was retired to stud in 2021. Aristio is a stallion that has shown to always improve his offspring. He adds quality and trainability and would suit a mare that needs blood and strength. All of his youngstock inherit his unbelievable temperament and he currently has 5 & 6yo’s competing successfully on the circuit. Aristio’s sire, the famous Arko III, was the Number 1 horse in Europe for 3 years and winner of over £1 million. He represented Great Britain with Nick Skelton in the 2004 Athens Olympics. Aristio’s dam, Leidy, bred the Grand Prix stallion, Picasso Z. Her sire, Voltaire, has over 30 approved sires in Europe amongst them Concorde & Kannan.
