Investigations

As experienced equine breeders, we realise the breeding journey may not always be smooth. We can offer comprehensive infertility investigations for barren mares or assistance with mares that have previously proven difficult to get in foal. These investigations are carried out in a step-by-step process unique for each case after an extensive history and may include the following.

  • Full Clinical Examination

  • A complete examination of the reproductive tract via palpation and ultrasound examination

  • Uterine Swabs & Lavage for Culture & Sensitivity

  • Uterine Biopsy

  • Video Hysteroscope to visualise the uterus lining and laser ablation of Uterine Cysts can also be arranged where appropriate in partnership with local veterinarians.
